Rental Period: The Rental Period does not suggest the time a rental item is being used but rather the time it remains in your possession. This includes travel time and bad weather
4 Hour Rental: A period of 4 consecutive hours during a given business day. Often referred to as a "1/2 Day Rental."
Weekday Small Equipment Rentals: Monday-Thursday rentals are 24 hours from pick-up for all Equipment except Heavy Equipment. Friday is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Weekday Heavy Equipment Rentals: Monday -Thursday are 8 a.m. to 8 a.m. Friday is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All Weekend Rentals: Equipment is picked up after 4 p.m. on Friday and Returned by 8 a.m. on Monday Morning. Weekend Rate is 1-1/2 Times the Daily Rate.
Late Returns: An additional rental fee will apply in the event an item is returned after the "due in" time on the rental agreement. If you anticipate a late return, please notify us immediately.
Rental Period Changes: A rental Contract is written with a definite "due in" time. If a situation arises where you need it for a longer period of time than originally arranged, you must contact Oneida Equipment Rental immediately. If the additional time is longer than 24 hours then you must come in and renegotiate a new contract and make payment for the additional amount.
RENTAL ITEMS NOT RETURNED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF DUE TIME WILL BE CONSIDERED STOLEN AND THE PROPER AUTHORITIES WILL BE NOTIFIED.
PROPER IDENTIFICATION: For insurance purposes, we are required to request proper identification prior to renting out any equipment to a customer. A New York State driver's license, non driver ID, or current military ID are the acceptable forms of proper identification.
Deposits : Non-credit customers are required to pay rental charges in advance along with any security deposit required. Deposit will be refunded upon return of the rental equipment by the designated time, in undamaged condition, and full of Fuel. Deposits may be paid by credit card or cash. We cannot accept checks as a form of deposit. Most Deposits are $100 to $500.
Equipment Condition: It is expected that rental items will be returned in the same condition as they were sent out. This is especially true with food service items and concrete equipment. A cleaning fee of $50 per hour will be assessed for all rentals returned in a condition other than received at the time of rental.
Equipment Malfunction: We will provide you with the very best quality equipment. We will maintain the equipment constantly in an effort to keep it at top performance levels. Despite this effort, there will be times when rental equipment will not work properly. In the event that your rental item malfunctions call us immediately for instruction. There may be a simple remedy available to you by phone. We may ask you to bring back the unit for exchange. You will not be expected to pay for rental time while the product is down. It is the renter's responsibility to call us as soon as a problem arises. Complaints of malfunctioning equipment will not be entertained after the item's return.
